Beyond Sight Studios was created with the intent to explore art in all of its forms.
We set out to create a ripple in the vibration of this density. Our goal is to help open minds, change perspectives, encourage conscious awareness.. or, more simply, to spread love.
Intuitive art is the concept behind everything that we do. Letting our intuitions guide us along through our various projects ensures that the purest intent is poured into everything we create.

My name is Jessica Yi Newsome.
I've lived in Nicholasville, KY my whole life. Strange and beautiful Kentucky is the only home I've ever known. I have two children and the most amazing and supportive husband. Beyond Sight is our branding name that also includes all my artwork. I make essential oil anointing sprays, wire wrapped crystal/gemstone jewelry and other absolutely random crafts that include runes, feathers, resin, animal bones and furs, ceramics and more that you can find here on the website.
I draw, paint, sculpt, carve, sew, and create digital art. I do photography and editing, even some cosmetology and special effects make up. Everything is art and art is everything to me. There's a lot of common ground in art despite the differences in all of us around the world. For me, it's the beauty of your creation, the emotions, the finished creation, how it will translate to others or how it might change someone. Art is each individual's perspective and their own unique reality. What you create is just physical representation of what's inside you and what your world looks like. To spill it all out on a piece of paper, a sculpture, a song, for the whole world to see and experience is bold.
It's not going to look like someone else's. It's not going to be wrong or right. I wasted a lot of time when I should have dived into art head first long ago. I did a lot of learning, as all humans do. But no regrets! Mistakes are necessary. I am who I am today and that's all there is to it. Still forever growing and adjusting. I can only try to be there for people who need what I'm able to give and to help people make deeper connections with their selves in every way and realize they can be whoever they want! I want to create honest connections and new beautiful art with crazy brilliant people. I will ask questions, see as much as I can, and embrace change and chaos. I plan to enjoy the life I'm creating and make as much of a racket about it while I'm here!

Can you pinpoint when your life truly began?
I often refer to my past as "my old life".
While not completely serious, it's not hard to see the difference in selves as someone else entirely.
For most of my life, I've struggled with an overwhelming feeling of isolation. Not being adequate, not understanding the world in which we live.
J.R.R. Tolkien wrote:
"Not all who wander are lost."
Well, I most definitely was lost in every sense of the word.
That all began to change when I met my wife, Jessica. For the first time in my life I began to feel like maybe I did belong here. She encouraged and supported my creative ideas unquestioningly. For someone that never felt "artistic" or "creative", that support was a world changer. I began to feel confident in my creative abilities. Then, as if on cue, we both began to "awaken" to a new world. A world where art was very much alive and all around. A world of wonder. A world of endless possibilities. A world of magick.
With this new perspective, we could tell the world who we were instead of being told.
In 2020, we created Beyond Sight Studios not knowing what the future would hold. We began to navigate, by trial and error, our way through this new life, and what amazing things we've already seen and accomplished! All because we believed in ourselves, and each other. Staying on the path with pure intentions, never wavering in the face of inevitable doubt.
I firmly believe life is about discovery. Learning about yourself. Uncovering your true nature. How can you ever hope to find your way in this chaotic world if you don't even know who you are? We must all remain open and attentive, ready to hear the universe speak. Catalyst is all around us. Opportunity to learn in every situation. Watch for the synchronicities, listen to the silence within. You just might discover something unimaginable and wondrous about yourself. And the world desperately needs your magick.
